Cutting Boards Use an approved board and avoid violation. We are able to supply (cut to size) 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" thick high-density polyethylene cutting boards. They will not trap odors or absorb moisture. This material is approved by the FDA, the USDA, and certified by NSF. The surface is self healing and will not dull knives. It is ideal for use in meat, poultry, and fish processing plants or in kitchens of all types, professional or home. The cost is approximately $6.60 per square foot for 1/2", $9.90 for 3/4", or $12.54 for 1" thick. Material is in stock and orders can be filled promptly. Remember: inspectors require plastic sleeves over bare flourescent bulbs in food areas. We carry 48" sleeves at $1.65 each or 96" at $2.05 each.
